Learn Through Music

“Im ein kemach, ein Torah. Im ein Torah, ein kemach. If there is no sustenance, there is no Torah, if there is no Torah, there is no sustenance”

-Rabbi Elazar, Pirkei Avot 3:21

Please Check our Calendar for Listings of Learning Opportunities

If there is no means with which to acquire nourishment, then one cannot study Torah, for our bodies must be nourished properly, so that we can function effectively in the world. However, if a person solely focuses on acquiring physical nourishment through material objects, this is not sufficient either. For someone to be whole and truly sustained and engaged in life, he or she must be nourished with Torah.

Tell us about you! Our Cantor will reach out to you and will introduce you to our fun and inclusive musical community.

Are you someone who loves music and the arts? Have you attended one or more concerts or musical programs at TE and loved it? Are you a passionate supporter and sustainer of music and the arts in the Greater Atlanta Metro area?

We invite you to join the Cantor’s Circle and become a Patron of the Arts at Temple Emanu-el.

Your continued support allows music at Temple Emanu-El to expand and grow in many ways. Your contributions help us to build and maintain high caliber technological performance spaces; allow us to attract a diverse range of Jewish artists, and help us to create dynamic music programming and experiences for all ages.
