We Jews have communicated our values through ‘story’ since the dawn of time. Stories can be told, and retold. Those heard by children are internalized, but then expand in our consciousness as we reach adolescence, adulthood, and then wisdom. Narratives can be expanded upon, and each age can relate to them with poignant authenticity.
