At Temple Emanu-El, you will find an active Jewish musical life via learning for all ages and exploring Jewish music within and beyond the walls of our synagogue. Musical life at Temple Emanu-El is about community, building a growing liturgical and musical vocabulary, and creating a sacred space for all ages.
Our mission at Temple Emanu-El is to inspire and engage congregants within the walls of Temple Emanu-El and into Greater Metro Atlanta. Music is a universal doorway that encourages a deep connection with Judaism as a foundation for creating lifelong relationships with those in our immediate circles and beyond. Together, through Jewish music, we create a kehilla kedosha, a holy community. We envision Temple Emanu-El as the epicenter of Jewish Music in the South East Region.
We are a multi-generational and dynamic community. At Temple Emanu-El, congregants of all ages
participate in music life, programming and events held at Temple Emanu-El and the surrounding community at large.
We are continually expanding our repertoire of inspiring music and visiting musicians and are committed to creating high caliber technological music and worship experiences. We are a down to earth, grassroots community of people who love music- please come and join us! To learn more please contact Cantor Lauren Adesnik.
