After being a member of The Temple Emanu-El Congregation for 5 years, Beth joined The Diamond Family Religious School teaching staff in 2011. Beth has been a public school teacher since 2001 and was excited to bring her educational talents to the Religious School. Beth became the Director of Education in 2015 and has been working diligently to update and modernize the Religious School by creating a more interactive approach to learning Hebrew as well as Judaics.
Beth hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the University of Alabama. Beth, her husband, Stephen, and their two children, Mason and Ryan, live in Marietta, Georgia. Beth and her family love spending time together traveling, seeing movies, and going to concerts.
A native of Israel, Dvora Miller received her undergraduate degree at Concordia University in Montreal and her Masters at Siegal College in Cleveland, OH. From 1997 through 2014, Dvora was a lead teacher at The Epstein School in Atlanta. In 2002, she was one of four candidates for the Rebecca and May Outstanding Teacher Award. In 2003, Dvora was honored by GISA (Distinguished Service Award) for 25 years of outstanding service in Hebrew/Judaic education. Dvora has a daughter and two grandchildren. Currently, she is looking forward to teaching at Temple Emanu-El Sunday School. Her passion is to do the very best to engage the students in Jewish learning, thereby deepening their understanding of the history, heritage and customs of Jewish tradition so they may grow to become skilled in living a Jewish life!
