When a family raising Jewish children welcomes a new child into their home we often greet the news with a hearty: “Mazal Tov!”
Hence, the inspiration for the name of a program we soft-launched this past Spring called Mazal Tots – Temple Emanu-El’s very own Baby and Me class. In the 2023–2024 school year, we are ready for a full launch with THREE cohorts to choose from.
Mazal Tots is unique. It is a program designed to foster connections, provide resources, and celebrate the beautiful journey of parenthood. With dedicated age-specific sections, we cater to the needs of families with:
- Infants (0–5 months)
- Movers and groovers (6–17 months)
- Toddlers (18–35 months)
Sessions are guided by Jackie Perilman, a professional with over 15 years of experience with early intervention and preschool-aged children specializing in language and communication skills.
Our program runs on Sunday mornings right out of our MJCCA Schiff classrooms on the lower level of the building.
Okay, so we know that the majority of our members don’t have a child age 0–35 months. HOWEVER:
- We have a bunch of folks who do have kiddos that age.
- We have a bunch of folks who are grandparents to local kiddos that age.
- We have a bunch of folks who know other Jewish families with kiddos that age.
Help us spread the word as our first cohort begins on August 6th! Mazal Tots runs in 4-session cohorts with new programming each month.
