The social hall was packed this past Sunday for our antisemitism program. While it’s important to stand up against antisemitism, we would LOVE to see equal (if not more!) folks join us to celebrate being Jewish!
Our Jewish identity shouldn’t only shine bright when under threat.
Now it is OUR time to CELEBRATE.
We are in the Jewish month of Adar and our joy is supposed to INCREASE!
We came out in big numbers after being attacked, but let’s also come out in big numbers to just celebrate — to celebrate PURIM!…which, by the way, is a holiday all about the Jewish people overcoming hate.
There’s something for everyone this weekend:
Friday night, 5:30pm Shabbat Dinner and Purim Celebration followed by a special, early, 6:30pm service!
Sunday morning, 9:00am V.I.P.urim for grandparents and special people!
Sunday morning, 10:30am Purim Carnival With A Cause for a Purim celebration for all ages!
Sunday afternoon, 12:30pm TEFTY Purim, Pesach, and Packing Party for those going on the Israel Trip this summer!
Sunday evening, 6:00pm Hamantaschen Hilarity with Dad’s Garage for a brief reading of Megillat Esther and some of the best Improv in-town…without having to go in-town.
Plus, you don’t want to miss out on the Hamantaschen made by your very own Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood!
Increase your joy.
Join us for one, two, or all these events!
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Rachael
